Today I ran to the drug store after work to grab some essentials. You know, typical girly stuff. Face powder, gum, nail polish and chapstick. Make that two kinds of chapstick.
The nail polish was an impulse buy. The color caught my eye and seemed like a fun winter shade for my natural nails. Plus it's supposed to dry in 50 seconds which (if true) is the best thing since sliced bread. Where did that saying come from anyway?

What I really want to talk about here is my 
Obviously I've grown up a bit now and no longer proudly display my colorful array of Bonne Bell Lip Smackers in every possible flavor. Dr. Pepper Lip Smacker anyone? No, I've evolved. Now I just obsess over having a chapstick available to me at all times. I'm not exaggerating. AT ALL TIMES I must have access to chapstick or else I get a bit....stressed. Remember, my dear readers, that the title of this post is "What makes me unique" not "Why I'm a crazy lunatic"..
Anywho. I keep chapstick (and gum) in my purse.
On my coffee table.
In my makeup case in the bathroom.
Next to my bed.
Plus I always have a back-up for each one so that if more than one stick runs out at a time, I'm covered.
OH, and I also keep a chapstick at work in my apron but forgot to take a photo.....
Think I'm crazy yet??? No, I'm just unique. With very moisturized lips.

ReplyDeleteomg.. I am the same.. I have approx 15 chap sticks strategically placed all around my house and at work. I actually have one right now in my robe pocket (that stays there). there is NOTHING worse than dry lips. If I leave the house (even for like an hr) without one I feel totally lost. lol

YES.. soo so good. love that combo. i think the mojo bars are wayyy too much like candy also. i had one today though.. hah. and i love your enthusiasm for chapstick! and i love you.. have missed you mucho! xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove that I am not the only chap stick addict and yes express finish has always dried very fast for me and lasts on my nails for a good amount of time keeping a nice shine.

Thank you! I thought that I was the only one. I will seriously have a nervous breakdown if I forget my chapstick somewhere! If my lips are dry, my HR starts racing and I start licking my lips, but that just makes it worse. You know? My husband thinks that I'm a freak b/c of the amount that we have laying around the house, but I don't care! I NEED it!
