I found this recipe on on Lyn's blog,
Escape from Obesity. If you've never read her blog I highly recommend it. She's such a terrific writer and her posts are always fantastic.
Brown one pound ground beef in a pan with a chopped onion and a few cloves of chopped garlic.

Add spices (garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, thyme, sea salt...),Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste.
I used leftover marinara and pizza sauce. It tasted just fine.
Add half a chopped cabbage.

Stir to combine and set heat to medium-low. Simmer for about 45 minutes or until cabbage is soft.

Final product: please ignore the heavy use of flash photography. It's dark in my kitchen...

Normally I would have served this with some fresh rolls or homemade bread. Unfortunately I didn't have any
ambition to make it so I made some brown basamati rice instead.

This was a tasty, easy meal to prepare and gets two thumbs up. My husband even went back for a second plate. :)
