We've been painting fools today! I made sure to get the husband in on my plan once the downstairs living area was cleared out. Yes, my friends, the couch of death is gone! Of course, I had a little help to make painting a bit more adventurous.
Champagne.

What? You don't drink when you paint?
For
dinner I roasted a sweet potato & regular potato with some EVOO & spices. The tin foil contains an entire garlic bulb drizzled with some olive oil & salt.

My plate: leftover meatloaf (spread with roasted garlic & organic ketchup/mustard) with veggies & potatoes.

I have quite a few photos backed up on the old camera so let's see what there is. First off,
breakfasts from the past couple days.
Millet toast with sunbutter, banana slices & an egg white fluffy with hot sauce.
Salmon salad with mayo, mustard & spices spread into a red bell pepper with roasted garbanzo beans on the side.

Snacks:

Smoothie with frozen peaches, cherries, an orange, pomegranate juice and ice.

Nothing too elaborate I guess. :)
Now, I'm off to get in a short workout in my newly cleared-out room. I can't tell you how excited I was to get that darn couch & chair out of here! Off to celebrate - unfortunately all the champagne is gone. :(
Glad that the furniture is gone! YES to drinking while painting. or cleaning.
ReplyDeleteThose chickpeas look great- I keep meaning to try them. Will pick some up today.
Have a great Monday!
Is it bad if I want that packet of tin foil full of roasted garlic, because I do...
ReplyDeleteAnd drinking while painting is completely acceptable, as is evidenced by half the pieces in a typical art museum.
I love the idea of drinking while painting! I say anyway to make house maintenance more fun should be embraced.
