ReplyDeleteWhat a fun weekend! How awesome to have your freezer stocked up - you will never need to buy beef again!! Funny...I went on a road trip this weekend as well...and also had a million smashed bugs on my windshield, and had a stop at Sonic. Must be a summer thing!

ReplyDeleteI remember my parents splitting a cow from a friend's farm with another family several times growing up. Since we split for half the beef we always ended up with some weird part of the cow, like the tongue or the tail. Thanks for bringing back the fun memory!
