One of the more touristy activities we found ourselves doing was exploring the USS Midway Museum. I'm not huge into history (it was mostly the menfolk in our party) but I will say it was a HUGE ship! I bet we saw maybe 1/10th of the entire thing and that alone took nearly 4 hours. I can't imagine designing something this massive.Loved this statue!
Views from the top deck of the Midway.
I'll leave you all with the one baby-themed purchase from San Diego. My mother-in-law bought these crib shoes (i.e. NOT for walking age) for our baby girl...too cute! Even though they're PINK... ;)
I didn't see that statue!...where the hell was that statue? How could I have missed that statue?
ReplyDeleteAnon - Lol, it was off to the right side of the ship. I noticed it from the deck out from the cafe/food court area. Picture was taken from top of flight deck.
ReplyDeleteDespite the fact that those shoes are pink, I love them. My son's first pair of walking shoes were Vans with dinosaurs on them. :)
ReplyDeleteWow what a nice rental house! I really enjoyed San Diego when I was there also but I didn't see the Midway... I love the last picture of you with the shoes on your belly:)
ReplyDeletethe shoes are so cute!! I like how you guys got a rental house. It's cheaper for everyone plus you can cook and get food too!!! I want more pics!!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing!! I didn't know you were pregnant so congrats!
ReplyDeleteWe always rent houses/condos when we can (VRBO is the best) and it's just so much better for us.
That statue is one just like one in Sarasota Florida!
So happy about your pregnancy- I know we e-chatted a bit about you wanting to be parents- hoorah!
